WASTE PAPER COLLECTION AND RECYCLING
The waste paper collection network, the bases of which were laid in 2006, offers stability and safety to the entire recycling and production process of Vrancart.
With an experience of over 15 years of activity in the collection of non-hazardous waste from individuals and legal entities, Vrancart aims to become a reliable partner on the non-hazardous waste management market, by providing high quality collection services.
Environmental protection is one of our objectives, and the establishing of our own network for waste paper collection, in more than half of Romania's counties, ensured the raw material for the production plants of Vrancart S.A.
WASTE PAPER COLLECTION CENTRES
In 2005, the first three collection centres were opened in Bucharest, Iasi and Focsani, and the subsequent investments led to the establishing of 18 collection centres until 2017.
Currently, the waste paper necessary for VRANCART’s production process is provided through its own collection centres opened in the following counties: Ilfov - 2 centres (Pantelimon and Chiajna), Arad, Arges, Bacău, Botoşani, Brasov, Brăila, Constanța, Cluj, Dolj, Iași, Mureș, Maramureș, Prahova, Sibiu, Timiș, Vrancea (2 centres - in Focsani and the coordinating centre in Adjud, that purchases waste paper from authorized collectors).
During this time, Vrancart invested over Euro 8.5 million in the infrastructure of its collection centres, for the endowment with 3.5 tons utility vehicles, trucks, 14 mc, 24 mc and 40 mc containers, press containers, lifting machines, high-performance weighing systems, high-capacity automatic balers.
FACILITIES
The facilities of Vrancart’s network of waste paper collection centres:
- 3.5 tons utility vehicles with Abrollkipper lifting system and tarpaulin
- trucks with Abrollkipper systems for the transportation of 24 cubic meter containers and press containers
- 14 and 40 cubic meter containers
- front loaders
- each collection centre is equipped with scales and forklifts
- balers, out of which 15 are horizontal balers with automatic binding.
In 2020, through Vrancart’s network of collection centres, more than 125.000 tons of non-hazardous waste were collected and recycled in our company’s own facilities or our partners’ facilities,
