CORRUGATED CARDBOARD PRODUCTION
Corrugated cardboard is the combination of two sheets of paper called "liner" glued to a corrugated paper called "fluting". These three layers of paper are assembled together in a way that gives the general structure a much better strength than that of each layer. The main criterion for classification is the type of corrugated cardboard, which takes into account the number of layers of paper – the types of corrugated cardboard are as follows: single-wall, double- wall and double-double wall corrugated cardboard.
The following figure illustrates the structure of the corrugated cardboard, depending on the number of component papers.
Single-wall corrugated cardboard is used as packaging material as such, while double-wall and double-double wall corrugated cardboard types are obtained in the form of plates, which are then processed to obtain cardboard packaging.
SINGLE-WALL CORRUGATED CARDBOARD
At the company's two factories located in Vrancea and Valcea counties, we produce a wide range of single-wall corrugated cardboard in multi-profile corrugated layers.
A wide variety of paper types are used in the manufacturing process, from basic recycled types, of testliner and wellenstoff type, to high-quality paper types such as kraftliner.
This product is generally addressed to corrugated cardboard packaging converters whose end customers are active in industries such as food, electronics, textiles, footwear, leather goods, sanitary products, hardware and household use, cosmetics and hygiene products, collection of sanitary waste, stationery, etc.

SINGLE-FACED CORRUGATED CARDBOARD
Single-faced corrugated cardboard consists mainly of two layers of paper, an outer layer of paper (liner) and a layer of corrugated paper (fluting), delivered in rolls of various widths and quality levels.
As it is extremely flexible, it is exceptionally suitable for protecting and packing small, large or irregular-shaped products, stabilizing them and thus protecting them against damage during storage or during shipment.
Since it is 100% recyclable and made from a renewable source, single-faced corrugated cardboard is a viable and environmentally friendly alternative to bubble wrap or polystyrene filler.
